I can see the benefits of the spa place. The fact that they allow the pets up to 12 hours a day for play, numerous walks per day, swimming and pool time, as well as socializing the pets with each other. Those are all necessary things for dogs. But the fact that they also had television in the rooms, and other excess things makes the whole place downright ridiculous. If you want your pet to be happy, give them what they need: some loving, lots of playtime, and let them make friends!
As long as you can pay for it. Buy the dog a castle if you want to. People who thinks its wrong are just jealous because they couldnt afford it or theyre too cheap to spend money on their pets.
Ignorance and bigotry aren’t nice traits, hun, you should really deal with that before spreading your nastieness around.
THey are animals! They are not accessories like you obviously use one as. This woman like yourself are out of touch with reality. My dog could no be happier, she loves to play, loves walks and loves people. I would never put a shoe on her paw, because her paw doesnt need it. They dont have flesh like our feet which is why I wear shoes so i dont get a cut and get infected. Dogs are dogs, not humans. My dogs a golden lab and your dog aint a real dog.
You would be the wrong one, hon. Not all dogs have fur coats, thus needing protection against the cold. Dogs also need protection from the burninghot asfault and comicals that we have spread. Little dogs get tired very easily so instead of having to carry them when this happens we instead put them in a comfortable carrying case, convinient for people and comfy for the dog. Yes, crazy concept, I know.

KatsWonderland you could not be more wrong. Animals can not make clothes themsleves, which is why they have fur, to keep them warm when its cold. Which is why they can survive. They do not need and the majority hate when clothes are put on them because its uncomfortable. Its not cute. No dog likes having shoes on its paws.Carrying them in a purse is just wrong.THey can walk they have 4 legs. THis video makes me wonder about peoples sanity.
After growing up in a household for animal rights, having to see PETA type anti-abuse vids, I’m so thrilled to see the babying of dogs.
Dogs wearing clothes make just as much sense as any other creature, including the human race, wearing clothes. It’s weird that people think it ‘humiliates’ the dogs, they don’t even get that their wearing clothes, like babies don’t know. Dog do love the attention they get when gussied up though.
If you dress yourself you should dress your dog. After all, we’re all born the same way we’re just made to put clothes on by the grown ups because they say we ought to, as do the people who dress up their dogs.
So you send every dollar you make to starving kids and Africa and work with the homeless, are a foster parent, and run a rescue?
Oh you don’t? Well that’s okay, it’s your life and your money, you can do what you like with both, as can these people you’re trying to judge.
It’s a comfort thing, people’s voices and the like tend to have a calming effect on a lot of dogs.
Clothes for pets makes just as much sense as clothes for people. None of us were born in onesies.
I’m 27 and I never understood the clothes for dogs UNLESS it’s halloween or you have a small dog that gets COLD or a raincoat for a dog works, but other than that I would never buy my dog clothes unless it was for said purposes above.
I understand dog day camps but not overly expensive ones. If I had no one to watch my dog I may send him there, but this pamering that’s waay too much. I love animals, but that’s too much LOL
Ah, so maybe THIS is why I could not afford to save the life of my only friend. Things for pets, particularly veterinary services, are now available ONLY to those who are insanely addicted to owning a pet. I show up in my wheelchair and the vets barely want to give me the time of day. Why? My animal doesn’t belong to a deluxe pet pampering club, get tidied up at a state of the art (Wha…?) salon, or wear a different outfit each day, each prolly costing two or three hundred bucks.

i understand buying things for the dogs when its cold and they need to have a walk, so that they dont feel so cold… but thats too much…
I think it’s their money, what should we care about how they spend it? I mean, they’re very important to some people you know!? Besides, do you give your money that you’d normally spend on food to starving kids in Africa?!

This is BULL S$^%! Over one frikin BILLION DOLLARS spent on pet closthes and DOGGY DAY CAMPS? THis should go towards poor people, and starving kids in Africa! Not towards these people and their dogs, but to people that ACTUALLY need it!

If your dog has a short hair cut or one of those hairless ones and it’s 40 below…sure, put a coat on the poor thing….otherwise your right, its not good for them. Not to mention humiliating:)
TRUE that dogs aren’t suppose to wear clothes; I’m just doing to branch off your comment (hope u don’t mind). A dog already has a coat, any more additions could over-heat the dog… and cuz dogs communicate thru body language wearing clothing masks their body language to other dogs. The only clothing that could be considered are shoes during the winter to prevent salt from cutting open their paws & cuz the sweat glans are on the dogs paws, it will also keep them extra warm while walking on snow
