Rats are the only animals I have encountered that don’t smell.

Why do people feel the need to take their pets into grocery stores and restaurants?

I am getting annoyed with the increasing number of people who are carting their animals to work, stores, restaurants and hotels. These are not guide dogs or working dogs I am referrig to but rather the pesky toy dogs that are now a fashion trend. They are not cute no matter how many accessories you put on them. The sanctions against smoking in public places need to also exist for pets.
